Me and my group mates manage to do some research to find out what is the most suitable solution by doing survey and we would like to show you our survey result.
People in the age between 18 years old to 30 years old who contributed in our survey are 87%, 43% of all participant comes from Indonesia and 22% of them comes from Malaysia. 88% of them use public transport every day and 51% of them only using the public transport once a day. The amount of people who know that they have to move back is 74% and 28% people do not know that they have to move in. As in everyday life, 76% of people always move back and 24% people only stay there and not moving in. From the survey we have, 51% of people have ever not moving back in the bus because they alighting soon. 49% of people feel annoyed and 42% do not care about it when they see people not moving and blocking the walking path. The last one, 73% of people think that we should ask them to move in nicely.
Based on this survey, most of them are in the age of 18 to 30 years old which the majority of them using the public transport every day. Almost all the people already know that they should move in in the bus and move in, but they do not care if other people not moving in in the bus. People are expecting others to tell them to move in instead of taking action by themselves.
After all, we think the possible solution of this problem is changing the design of the bus to make the people move in by themselves.
